There’s a kingdom where justice is done in an arena in front of an audience. Before the accused lie two doors. One leads to a deadly tiger who’ll eat you alive. The other leads to a beautiful woman who’ll marry you in a few hours. No one can escape the judgment of the king. No one can escape the choice behind these doors. Not even the lover of the princess. But the daughter of the king knows which door leads to death and which door leads to marriage. Can she let her lover die? Could she ever stand to see him wed to another? This thought-provoking short story is beautifully written. It makes readers question their own mind and judgment. So, what would you choose? Your reason or your emotions?
